Drew was the winner of my Petite Motherhood Session giveaway this year, and I had so much fun photographing her and her sweet girl! And the photos from their session just warm my heart- there's something so beautiful about stripping back all the expectations we have when we get our photos taken- trying to get everyone behaving and posed just so and looking over here and saying cheese and smiling at the camera. When you can take all that away and just photograph the purest joy a mama has for her baby, the adoring way her baby looks at her alone, the sweet way her little fingers rest on your arm or the way her little toes curl, and that sweet gummy smile.... That's my favorite. And I want that for every mama.
